Claim

Take the owner share of your market

Anyone can launch a market against a public X account. The 70% owner share accrues from the first trade whether or not anybody has claimed it — claiming is what lets the accrued balance be withdrawn, by the account it was always reserved for.

XPair asks X for read access to your profile and nothing else. It does not ask for permission to post, it does not ask for a refresh token, and the sign-in expires on its own after two hours. What it learns is your numeric X id — which is what markets are bound to, and what a claim is checked against.

Connecting proves who you are. It does not claim anything, move anything, or agree to anything — the claim itself is a separate transaction you sign in your own wallet.

What a claim is

A transaction you send from your own wallet, carrying a signature from XPair’s attestor that names that wallet and expires shortly after it is issued. XPair signs but never submits, never holds the funds and cannot reverse a claim once it lands. Because the signature names the wallet, nobody who intercepts it can redirect the payout.

If you want no part of it instead

Sign in and remove your profile from the market. XPair stops showing your picture, your name and your bio anywhere on the site, and the market renders as an unattributed ticker. It does not delete the token, which is on Robinhood Chain and outside anybody’s control, and it does not stop the owner share accruing — that balance stays reserved for you and is still claimable later if you change your mind.
